The effects of integrative arts therapy on peer relation between children with/without disabilities

Abstract
The purpose for this research was that ¡®integrative arts therapy¡¯ included by various media such as music, fine art, dance, and association of ideas is effective on peer relation between the 3 children with developmental disorder and 3 general children in inclusive kindergarten setting. The experiments were conducted twice a week starting from December 2007 to February 2008. The one session was one hour and total sessions are eighteen. The results were as follows: First, integrative arts therapy was effective on relationship like as social support, intimacy, and friendship between developmental disorder children and general children in inclusive education settings. In this study, there was a more statistical rise than the previous session. As far as the result from study was concerned, integrative arts therapy caused positive effect on the processes of peer relation of children between children with/without disabilities.
